This is one of those fabric combinations you could look at forever. The warm oranges and corals play so nicely against the blue, and the cream and multicolor checks keep the whole thing grounded and cozy (the soft, squishy Fableism fabric helps make it quite cozy, too😊). 

Once they're pieced into the StarRae Quilt Pattern, these colors bounce from block to block and give the finished quilt so much personality. And because the pattern is built from just two repeating blocks, it's still a very approachable sew.

Pattern Details

The StarRae Quilt Pattern creates a striking star grid layout using alternating blocks that add movement and dimension across the entire quilt. While the finished design looks detailed and complex, it's constructed with simple, repeatable blocks using beginner-friendly techniques like square-in-a-square and flying geese (made the efficient way).

This pattern was tested and refined using feedback from multiple experienced quilters. It includes guidance for making a two-color (or multi-color) quilt with yardage or a scrappy quilt with fat quarters, and includes a coloring page to try out different combos before you start cutting and stitching.
